Made out of cherry and is 9 x 18 inches. After engraving the dog head it was stained with dark cherry stain. The recessed engraved letters were painted black and all was sealed with a clear finish.

This table, six chairs and hutch are currently being built out of solid cherry. Note black walnut inlay along the surface edge of the table. The backs of the chairs were steam bent in a small steamer. |

The eagle motif is being engraved on the smaller of the two home made CNC Routers that Mike has made. The shadow box to the left shows the engraved eagle in it’s position on the finished product. This little machine will cut at a rate of 100 inches per minute with bits as small as .032 inches. |

Above is the start of a special order for three cribbage boards with a contour map of a lake in northern Minnesota. Eventually it will be cut free, sanded and the lake contour area stained and then all will be clear coated. It was cut on Mike’s larger CNC router. |
